Max Factor Eye Brightening Mascara Review

Max Factor Eye Brightening Mascara is a very good mascara but I am not sure it does anything in eye brightening department, it doesn't bring out any colour in your eyes, I think its a very good mascara though because you can make your lashes look long very quickly without using very much so it will last for a long time. You can use one put it onto your lashes once and you see an immediate change, your eyelashes will quickly look longer and you can curl them up with the wand. The packaging is pretty average at the bottom part its just white with the name on but the lid is better, it is black but it has an eye on it, with the colour eye it is supposed to be on it which just brightens up the packaging, so overall I would say the packaging is better than most, the wand is pretty small and thin and doesn't look like anything special but it is so easy to use and gives you so much control. Product Rating: ****

no7 Liplicious Moisturising Balm Review

no7 liplicious moisturising balm has SPF 15 so it will protect your lips from sunburn which may sound really stupid but if they do burn it really really hurts so its worth just looking for a lip balm or gloss that has SPF to put on underneath the lip product you want to put on. I got it in the colour Marshmallow it is a clear balm with a slight pink tint to it, the scent to it is like dolly mix or I suppose Marshmallow, but to me it reminds me more of dolly mix. It literally has no taste to my mind but you might be able to taste something. The packaging is a love/hate thing, I love some elements of the packaging and some I really hate, the elements I love is it isn't in a hard to open tin like most lip balms its in a squeezy tube like lip gloss, and the top is a click on but it looks like a twisty one but its not so don't be fooled by that, its a good thing that its a click on because twist on ones get sticky if you have lip gloss or balm in them. The factors that I hate are that the letters on it fade quickly so you can't read what it is which is annoying for things like this, so you can't explain the shades, and the worst thing about it is the packaging is clear, you can see how yucky it might get inside.

Max Factor Lipfinity Lasting Lip Tint Review

This is a review for the Max Factor Lipfinity Lasting Lip Tint, I got it quite a while because it looked really good and I had seen people rave about it, but because of a fault I made myself I was disappointed with the product. So here is why and the review.

I love the packaging its like a felt tip pen and its just generally nice to carry around and gives you good control, although the detail on it chips quite quickly but it stays nicely in tact other than that. When I got it I got it in shade 3 and I think that its way to bright, its like a bright pink colour that on your lips comes out as reddy dark pink so its not exactly what the colour on the packaging suggests, but still it's good if you want a bright pink, stand out colour but not for everyday or for a subtle or natural look. So I will try to use it up but I might just repurchase in a lighter shade. But I do think that depending on the heat of the day it varies in how long it lasts, on hotter days it lasts less time most likely because of the extra oils that your body is producing in the heat. On colder days I would say it lasts for about half the day so it doesn't last very long but if say you wanted to wear it to a party then it would probably fill its purpose then.

mine is the bright pink one in the middle of this picture

Maybelline Matte Mousse Foundation Review

This is my Maybelline New York Dream Matte Mousse Foundation Review I have it in shade 10, ivory. I have had it for quite a long time and its a really good foundation, depending on what look you want to create and how much coverage you want.

The review:
I would say this foundation gives light to medium coverage, it looks natural but still is a nice base for my make-up you don't have to use a primer underneath and it stays on for a long time because when I take it off at the end of the day you can see it on the make-up wipes. It doesn't look orange at all unless you have the wrong shade for your skin tone or you really coat it on, I know this from experience, me and my friend for a joke did a video showing how not to wear make-up, I don't know if you will be able to see it on you tube because my friends laptop is broken which is what we filmed it on, but if we get it up I will let you guys know, it will be on my channel Daisy-Grace Cotton. Anyway, the foundation is really good and the packaging is really good, its compact and light, really good for travelling and just taking it around and about. I got it from boots for six pounds 99. Just so you know the reason I don't write price in numbers is because my pound sign button doesn't work on my laptop so now you know.

Orange Fanta and Coca Cola Cherry Lip Smacker Lip Balm Review

If you haven't heard of lip smacker lip balms they are really great, this is my review on two lip balms I got from Claires Accessories in the UK I got fizzy drink themed, Orange Fanta and Coca-Cola Cherry and this is my review on them:

Coca-Cola Cherry:
I absolutely love the smell of this lip balm it smells so good! It smells exactly as the name suggests, coca-cola cherry, but it also reminds me of haribo tangfastics cherries, if you are looking for a tasty lip balm then this probably isn't the one for you but in my mind the smell makes up for it. It prevents my lips from getting chapped but if you want to heal chapped lips then this is definitely not the product you are looking for, but if you are prone to chapped lips I really suggest blistex which I will do a review about. The product packaging is pretty average, for lip balm but it is bound to last me ages because its quite long, longer than your average chap stick, but its red with the coca-cola writing on it and cherries, not the most exciting packaging but if you are looking for a really nice smelling chap prevention lip balm this is the product you are looking for.

Orange Fanta:
This product doesn't smell as good as the Coca-Cola Cherry but it smells pretty good it smells like the name suggests, orange fanta and it really makes me want a can right now, so I will have to buy one ;). Anyway it makes my lips feel quite moisturised unlike the other one which I forgot to say in that review leaves my lips feeling sort of greasy so this is probably a better one, again if you are wanting a nice tasting lip balm this is not the one for you, it tastes disgusting. They come off pretty easily so you have to leave time for them to sink in before eating or something like that. I actually love this packaging its so much more creative and just generally better and brighter in my opinion its the same size and bright orange with the fanta logo with orange bubbles and just cool clip-art sort of stuff its really cool.

Introduction

Hi my name is Daisy Cotton, my main twitters are @BrittyGirlX and a co-owned account @1Dmegafans my youtube account is Daisy-Grace Cotton I might start a beauty and vlog channel, beauty being my main aim, this blog is here to review beauty products and nail varnish and other random things such as the Hunger Games, One Direction and Harry Potter with occasional mentions of british diver (and totally hot) Tom Daley! So yay! Disclaimer: This blog is sponsored by my own money not any suppliers not even maybelline who I am getting testers from I just signed up for the testers :)

I will be getting Maybelline testers so they will definitley be reviewed so if you want to know if there any good I will review them on here, the first product that I am being sent a tester of is Maybelline dream fresh BB cream.

Just so you know I am from the UK so I don't know about availability in other countries. But so you know what this blog is going to be like I will do a quick review on no7 stay perfect nail colour in poolside blue that I got from boots, they are cheap but they are not super rubbish cheap nail varnish so here is my review:

this is the exact colour of the nail varnish from the boots website and if you want to see what the packaging is like go to http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Stay-Perfect-Nail-Colour_1221409/

The packaging is pretty average nothing special but I like that what you see in the bottle is what you get, it doesn't have any nasty surprises inside. It dries quickly which I really love in a nail varnish because it doesn't have time to smudge. The colour itself is really fun and summery. Its bright and stands out but it doesn't look outrageous so that's good. It lasts quite a long time but if you use nail varnish a lot it might run out considerably quicker than mine has. It doesn't chip quickly so if you wanted to you could leave it on for a couple of days or longer. It hasn't gone gloopy and I have had mine for a long time, so long I don't even remember how long it has been since I got it. So overall I love this nail varnish and suggest that you go and buy it its only three pounds fifty in England at boots so if you love fun, bright and blue nail varnish I would definitely reccomend this one!

Thanks for reading this blog post and please keep reading my blog posts :)
