Collection 2000 cream puff moisturising lip cream review

So this is first impressions review, not exactly first impressions as I have had this lip product for a couple of days but this is how I am going to do this review first of all here as you can see is a picture of the product and a swatch on my hand now I am going to insert a picture of my lips without any product on then one with the lip product on and then tell you how it lasted and how I feel about it! This product is in the colour: fairy cake 3

So yeah that is the colour of my lips and its the most attractive picture ever. I know ;) XD.

So the next step was to put on the product and take a picture of it on. Bear in mind it won't look exactly the same on camera or on screen.

So yes on camera and on screen it does not look like a massive difference in colour but it is a lot brighter in reality. Its a coral colour with orange undertones but it also has a mix between pink and red in the look of it. The first things I noticed whilst applying it were:

  • The product clings to cracks in the lips and does what is called feathering or bleeding.
  • The wand is super soft and velvety
  • It smells and tastes like custard.
Later On!

This products stayed on for about 2 hours and the smell stayed as well which I like but you might not! I like this product a lot but if I was to buy it again which I probably will, I will buy a more natural less bright, wearable colour in it. It is supposed to be moisturizing but I'm not one hundred percent sure about that. It is £2.99 ish and its definitley great value for a nice matte finish lip cream that is fairly moisturising.

Overview:So on the back of the product it says: 'velvety soft, matte finish lip cream'  so I am going to address each part of that and answer if I think its correct, or not.
Velvety soft, well as I said the wand/brush is velvety but the product on your lips doesn't really feel that way its not exactly sticky but it is still kind of sticky in the sense that my lips stick together, if that makes any sense. Matte Finish is totally true which is really cool because its not like a gloss or lipstick its about the middle ground as it has a gloss look without the shine and a matte finish that feathers (annoying ):).
